The Nigerian States Projects Procurement Board (NSPPB) is a fully independent statutory body established to coordinate, regulate, and oversee the procurement of public projects across Nigeria’s 36 states. Our core mandate is to ensure that all state-level government procurements are conducted in line with the Federal Public Procurement Act of 2007, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission Act of 2004, and other relevant national and international best practices.

Mandate and Legal Framework

NSPPB operates under the authority of the Public Procurement Act (2007) and aligns with relevant provisions in the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission Act (2004), empowering it to:

• Approve procurement plans and budgets of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs)
• Oversee and regulate every stage of the procurement cycle—from tender preparation to award and execution
